Jack Cannon Memorial Fund

This fund was created in Jack Cannon’s memory by his wife Sherry.

Jack Cannon started his career as an independent truck driver.  For the last 15 years of his career, Jack worked as a heavy equipment operator with the District of Mission.

Sherry was aware that the Mission Community Foundation did not have any scholarships for trades.   Knowing how expensive it was to get into trades schools, Sherry started a fund in Jack’s honor.

This fund is available to graduating Grade 12 students living in Mission and intending to continue their education at a Trade or Vocational School.  Should there be no candidates, this fund can be utilized in any other field of interest.

If you’d like to help a student enter trades school, donate today!

Mission Community Foundation is able to accept E-Transfers from your bank. Send e-transfers to info@missioncommunityfoundation.org.  Please provide details on what fund you would like the monies applied to in the “message” box.
