On May 2, 2018 the Mission Community Foundation presented 58 students with $70,000 worth of bursaries and scholarships, as well as awarding 2 free tuitions to UFV.  This was our 30th year of presenting awards and we invited Norm Cook, an original board member, and Eden Green, an original award recipient to provide a look into our past.  They spoke of our beginnings and about how we’ve grown over the years.  Unknown to the committee and Board, Eden’s daughter was one of the recipients that night and it is gratifying to know we are now helping a second generation of students reach their educational goals.

The Mission Community Foundation receives all the thanks but really it’s our benefactors who are the super heroes, if it wasn’t for them, none of this would be possible.

THANK YOU for your continued support.
