Established in 1982, the Fraser Valley Child Development Centre services are community-based, accessible, inclusive and strength-based. Services are delivered in a culture of excellence, diversity, and respect, with a focus on innovation, quality, stability, and positive outcomes for each child, their families, our staff and our community. We believe in “Helping Kids Shine.”
In 2003 they approached Mission Community Foundation for a grant to purchase special adaptive toys which are made available to children receiving services. The toys will be utilized in some therapy sessions as well as be available for children to play with while waiting. The Foundation was happy to fund this project and provided $500 towards the purchases.
