Once Upon A Time
Once upon a time, approximately 40 years ago, Margaret Erskine wanted to make a difference in her community. She moved to Mission upon her retirement from the medical profession in 1972 and built her dream home on 11th Avenue.
In the mid 1980’s Margaret requested Mr. GW (Bill) Harris to assist her in managing her financial affairs. Understanding that Margaret had no living relatives or heirs, he suggested she leave her estate in trust to further education of the young people of Mission. Margaret authorized discussions to take place with a lawyer to seek advise on how to proceed.
The seed was now planted.
