Carly Rae Jepsen Bursary Fund

It is said that music soothes the soul, enriches our lives and Carly Rae believes it is important for our community.  Mission has a large talent pool and some of our citizens have become international and national superstars, while others retire from the ‘biz’ to share their knowledge with up and coming local artists.

Carly Rae Jepsen fits into the “international superstar” category.  Although she is now a Multi-platinum, Grammy, Juno and Polaris Prize nominated singer / songwriter, Carly Rae still has roots in Mission.

“Receiving the Mission Foundation Scholarship in Grade 12 helped support my first year at the Canadian College of Performing Arts.  Mission’s young people have so much to offer and I’m proud to help support them in pursuing their career path.” ~ Carly Rae Jepsen

The Carly Rae Jepsen Bursary Fund has been set up to provide bursaries to students entering the arts, with special consideration to musical arts.
