John M. Green Swim Fund

John Green grew up in Mission and has a passion for swimming.  He believes that every child who wants to, should have the opportunity to learn how to swim. Although John now resides in Vancouver, he wants to give back to the community he grew up in. It is because of this that he decided to start the John M Green Swim Fund.

The purpose of this fund is to enable children / youth, whose parents/guardians would not be able to afford lessons, the ability to attend swim lessons free of charge up to and including the age of 17 years.  Children / youth will be able to attend multiple swim lesson sessions providing they attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled lessons.

Details on funding prerequisites and application form are located here.
