Yum Science Fund

Daniel Yum FundDaniel Yum graduated from Hatzic Senior Secondary in 2000, received the Hollister Science Scholarship and later that same year started the Yum Science Fund in order to give back to the community.

His academic career took him to Waterloo University where he received many scholarships and awards, including the Natural Science and Engineering Research Council of Canada’s Undergraduate Research award in 2004.  Daniel graduated with a degree in software engineering.  He has a Patent for capturing video images under low-light conditions.

This Scholarship is for graduating Mission students pursuing post-secondary education in Sciences.
