ABOUT THE MISSION COMMUNITY FOUNDATION
The Mission Community Foundation believes in a simple concept – ‘helping you to help others’.
The Mission Community Foundation is managed by community volunteers who sit on the Board of Directors and on various Board and Working committees. These volunteers donate their time and expertise to help the Foundation to continue to be successful.
The Board of Directors is a combination of elected individuals and appointed representatives from the District of Mission, Chamber of Commerce, Mission Public Schools, Mission Community Services and the Fraser Valley Regional District. This diversity provides the Foundation with the information needed to help it remain relevant and focused on the needs of the community.
The Mission Community Foundation was created in 1987, and over three decades later, it continues to support the community through Scholarships, Bursaries and Community Grants for post-secondary education, poverty reduction, health initiatives, social justice and environmental issues.
It is always the season for giving, and if you would like to create a lasting Legacy Fund or donate to an existing Fund, please contact the Mission Community Foundation office at 604 826 5233 or email at email@example.com.
Mission Community Foundation has been nominated for the Non-Profit Charity of the Year Award as part of the 23rd Annual Business Excellence Award.
