On May 11, 2016, the Mission Community Foundation hosted their annual Bursary & Scholarship awards night at the Clarke Theatre. The Foundation has been giving these awards since 1988 and this marks our 28th year of assisting graduating students with funding to further their education. We are honored to have presented 50 young adults with $52,500 in bursaries & scholarships.
The Foundation and their benefactors look forward to this event annually as it gives them a chance to interact with the young people who will be shaping our future. The students this year show great promise and we look forward to hearing from them about how their education and careers are going.

We appreciate all he has done to help the Foundation over the years and thank him for the countless volunteer hours he has selflessly given to us. We will miss him.
