Yesterday was the first day of spring for 2017 and while we are all anxiously awaiting warmer and sunnier weather, we are happy that we have finally turned the corner from this long and unusual winter.
This year marks the 30th anniversary for the Foundation, 125th anniversary for Mission and Canada’s 150th. To say that this year is special is an understatement. We will be participating in Missions events as well as holding a gala for our anniversary, so please mark the following dates in your calendar:
Wednesday, May 10, 2017 – Bursary & Scholarship Awards 7:00 pm Clarke Theatre
Thursday, May 18, 2017 – Annual General Meeting 4:15 pm English Tarts on Main
Wednesday, June 7, 2017 – G.W. Cooke Awards 7:00 pm Clarke Theatre
Thursday, August 10, 2017 – Foundation Legacy Dinner 5:30 pm mix and mingle; 6:30 pm dinner – Heritage Park Longhouse
Themed dinner: all participants must wear Black, white and purple
Cost $70 per ticket
