Community Foundations in Canada survive with the assistance of dedicated volunteers. Mission Community Foundation has a staff of one; the rest of the organization is run with the assistance of our volunteers. The Board of Mission Community Foundation has eleven dedicated community leaders, six of whom are elected. The remaining five are assigned to our Board from the City of Mission, Fraser Valley Regional District, Mission Community Services, School District 75 and the Chamber of Commerce. With representation from these five community groups, the Foundation always has a pulse on our community.
Our committees have two Board members, some benefactors, and community leaders. Everyone is dedicated to helping Mission Community Foundation help students and charities in Mission.
