Animal Welfare Fund ImageThe Animal Welfare Fund was created by five Mission women who have a passion for animals.  Julie Hartland, Ernestine Kearney, Margaret Calloway, Jenny Stevens and Moneca Harder started this fund in April of 2011.  The purpose of this fund is to provide support to charitable organizations working with animals in Mission.

These organizations struggle yearly to provide care for animals in need in Mission.  Some organizations that could benefit from this fund are:

  • pet therapy
  • guide dogs
  • Fraser Valley Humane Society
  • SPCA (society for the prevention of cruelty to animals)
  • SAINTS (senior animals in need today society)

It’s heartbreaking to see a helpless animal in distress and your contribution can enhance an animal’s quality of life.
