John and BJ Pearson are long-time residents of Mission. They believe that everyone should have the chance to improve themselves. Young adults entering the workforce need post-secondary education to obtain steady, well-paying jobs. They encourage young adults to explore their preferred vocation for job possibilities prior to entering their chosen field.
John believed in maintaining a respectful work environment with his peers and the citizens of Mission throughout his RCMP career. He also served on Mission city council for three terms and is an active volunteer in the community. John and BJ also donate sufficient funds to the Food Bank so every client, approximately 150, will get a turkey at Christmas.
The Pearson’s are passionate about our community and they want to ensure their legacy continues by creating the John & BJ Pearson fund to provide scholarships to Mission students entering the RCMP, Emergency Services or Nursing.
If you would like to help a Mission student enter Nursing, donate today!
