Marilyn McClinton was an educator with School District 75. She was passionate about reading, teaching, hiking, skiing, running, and photography. After she left the school district Marilyn continued her love of literacy by opening her own bookstore in Abbotsford that she ran for 15 years.
When she passed in 2004 her family, friends and colleagues started this fund with the Mission Community Foundation. Her siblings regularly contribute to the fund to enable scholarships annually.
This fund is a scholarship fund for any student pursuing a career in teaching.
