The Rotary Legacy Sciences Education Fund is a permanent endowment held by the Mission Community Foundation. This fund is open for contributions from the public and creates a legacy in support of Science Education in the community.

With the initial investment of $10,000, the fund will generate annual income used to provide scholarships, bursaries, and community grants annually. These funds will directly support students of all ages, and the schools within the Mission School District, and surrounding areas including FVRD. Focus will be on science-related studies and programs.

The Rotary Legacy Sciences Education Fund will support:

  • Students pursuing science programs, post-secondary
  • Science fairs and science education initiatives within schools of the Mission School District and surrounding areas.
  • Scholarship consideration of applicants who demonstrate strong volunteerism and community involvement

Additional donations are welcome and will help grow the fund and have meaningful impact for years to come.
