Mission Community Foundation awarded $6,000 in community grants to support local youth programs. Greater Vancouver Youth Unlimited (GVYU) was the recipient of two grants for Jesters Theatre and Mission Youth House (MY House). Jesters Theatre received $4,300 to for its youth-focused theatre programming while MY House received $1,700. Youth Unlimited’s Mission area director Calvin Williams thanked Mission Community Foundation for its support. “This funding directly impacts the lives of youth in Mission by strengthening programs that offer safe spaces, creative outlets, and positive, life-saving support. Partnerships like this make a real difference in our community,” Williams said.
