Mission Community Foundation awards just over $89,000 to Local Organizations for 2025 Grant Cycle 2

MISSION, B.C. – The Mission Community Foundation is pleased to announce the distribution of $89,010 in grant funding to 16 local community groups through its 2025 Grant Cycle 2. These grants support community-based initiatives that advance the Foundation’s commitment, to improve the quality of life for community members within the City of Mission and the surrounding areas.

The Foundation conducts two grant cycles each year—one in the spring and one in the fall—providing essential funding that supports important local initiatives in food security, literacy, trades, athletics, education, health, arts and culture, social services, and other key community needs.

“These grants are an investment in Mission’s future,” said Shelley Carter, Board Chair of the Mission Community Foundation. “Whether it’s supporting food security, literacy, the arts, or health initiatives, each funded project plays a vital role in building a thriving, connected community.”

Looking ahead, Grant Cycle 1 will take place in the spring of 2026, and the Mission Community Foundation encourages eligible community organizations to apply through the website.

The Foundation’s grant program is possible through the ongoing generosity of donors who are committed to building a stronger, more connected Mission.
