Foundation Fables: Then and Now – Episode 23

Non-Profit of the Year Award

 In 2010 Mission Community Foundation was nominated for Non-Profit of the year along with Hospice, Rotary Clubs of Mission, Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival and Zajac Ranch.  It was the first and only time the Foundation has been nominated for this award and it was honored to be in the same category as those organizations.

No one was more surprised than Shelley Clarkson, its then Board Chair, when the Foundation was named winner; again, because the other nominees have done and continue to do such great work in our community.  The Foundation is proud to have won this award as it shows it that the community appreciates and supports the work it does.

The Foundation continues to help you help others and hopes one day to be nominated again.
