Fund Facts: Carly Rae Jepsen Bursary Fund

Carly Rae Jepsen FundAs a multi-platinum, Grammy, Juno and Polaris prize nominated singer / songwriter, Carley Rae Jepsen is known throughout the world for her incredible musical talents.

Upon graduating she received a scholarship from Mission Community Foundation that helped her in her first year at the Canadian College of Performing Arts.

Appreciative of the assistance, Carly wanted to give back to the community that helped her further her career and in 2014 she created the Carly Rae Jepsen Bursary Fund.  The fund is used to provide financial support to students pursuing post-secondary studies or training in the area of Fine and Performing Arts.  This includes but is not limited to: voice, instrumental, dance, drama, music creation/production and musical theatre.

Since it’s inception this fund has provided 7 students with a total of $7000.00 in bursaries.
