This fund is a dual purpose fund providing scholarships and grants focusing on music in our community.
Fenmo’s love of music was legendary. He played with Mart Kenney on occasion and was a self taught, gifted musician, playing piano mostly by ear. Wanting everyone to have an opportunity to play and listen to music, he generously donated a baby grand piano to the Clarke Foundation Theatre and it is enjoyed today by entertainers and students alike.
His wife Marilyn wanted to continue Fenmo’s legacy for his love of music. Marilyn donated to the Mission Community Foundation in his name to support students and organizations with scholarships and grants that focus on music.
Since inception in 2003 this fund has provided $6,600.00 in grants to schools for their music programs and $30,750.00 in scholarships to graduating students.
If you want to help students and organizations focus on music, donate to this fund today!
